Annual car show on the grounds of Sagtikos Manor featuring over one hundred cars. Help award the People’s Choice Award for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place cars. For show carparticipants: registration fee of $5 if pre- registered by July 2, 2018 (download a registration form below and mail to: Sagtikos Manor Historical Society c/o 48 Winchester Drive, Lindenhurst, NY 11757). Registration fee the day of show is $10. Registration for vehicles 1942 and older stock vehicles - free. For vendor participants the fee is $45/space. "Mourning" at the Manor and Fall Festival
Sunday, October 7

Sagtikos Manor

This year we will be depicting historic "mourning" and "funeral" practices. Visit our house all decorated to this theme and see how we depict the family’s mourning. Join us for a procession to the family cemetery and listen as we give our spiritual cemetery tour. The 3rd NY Regiment will be present, performing manuevers and demonstrating daily life routines. Craft demonstrations include: spinning, weavers, cooking, broom making, beekeeping, pottery making, rug hooking, quilting, leather working and metal smithing. Children’s activities include arts and crafts and old fashioned games and listen to Colonial Musicians. Purchase an item from one of the many crafts booths or from our manor gift shop. Food vendor will be on premises too. Admission: Adults $10, Seniors and children (5-12) $5. For more information: 631.321.6809 or info@sagtikosmanor.org.
